We are pleased to announce the appointment of Robert (Rob) Perri as Tennis Professional at Hillcrest Tennis Club for the 2018 season. He will assume control of the junior tennis program and all lessons this year.
Robert has been a Tennis Professional for over 10 years and has experienced much success working with players of all ages and skill levels through his implementation of Progressive Tennis techniques as well as his approach to High Performance training.
Robert is the first Canadian Coach to finish his Master of Tennis: Performance with the Professional Tennis Registry (ITF Level 5) – a distinction which less than 100 coaches in the world hold – which certifies him to coach and develop players to the National Level.
Robert has also earned the distinction of European Professional with the Registo Professional De Tennis (Spanish Federation) which certifies him to coach at Academies in Europe.
Robert is known for his cooperative approach to training which enables his players to think critically and apply their skills in match situations. He achieves this through his strong motivational style coupled with his continuous efforts to stay up-to-date and be adaptable to the perpetually changing landscape within the sport to provide his players with the most current training methods.
Under Robert’s direction, Hillcrest Tennis Club is excited to offer exceptional Progressive Tennis and High Performance Programs to its junior and adult members. Emphasis will be put on developing a strong foundation of technical and physical skills for players so that they have all the tools they need to properly develop their own style of play.
