Introducing Hillcrest Tennis Club

Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood amidst the attractive surroundings of Cresthaven Park, on 37 Cresthaven Drive in North York, bounded by Don Mills Rd, Finch Ave, Leslie St. & Steeles Ave. We are a non-profit community based tennis club, with plenty of available free parking in the area. Whether you wish to play tennis for fun in a social environment, take a few lessons, or play on competitive teams, Hillcrest Tennis Club offers something for everyone of all ages. There are eight competitive Intercounty Tennis adult teams, social round robins on Monday and Wednesday evenings, junior hours, and lessons with our pro.

Our Facilities

Hillcrest Tennis Club operates from early April until late October, including evenings, with our lights on until 11 pm. In 2015, all 4 courts were resurfaced and the practice court is scheduled to be resurfaced this year. We have a functional clubhouse with mens and ladies washrooms, kitchen with refrigerator, food serving area, tables and chairs, BBQ and member information bulletin boards. The club is a member of the ᅠNYTA (North York Tennis Association) and theᅠ OTA (Ontario Tennis Association).

We welcome Rob Perri as our new club pro. Rob brings experienced coaching, teaching and enthusiasm to our club.


Junior Clinics:

Hillcrest Tennis Club is excited to offer progressive tennis to it's junior players. Progressive Tennis is a game-based approach to tennis which utilizes scaled courts and equipment to all children to play quickly and successfully. Progressive Tennis is the method of choice for the most successful tennis nations in Europe including Spain and France. Roger Federer is also the spokes Person for Progressive Tennis in Switzerland. This program will be run by our Head Pro, Robert Perri, and his staff of specially selected coaches who have an affinity for youth development.

Most importantly though, the program is FUN!


Classes for the spring session will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays starting in the second week of May and run for 6 weeks.  In the case of rain make up classed will be arranged.


Classes are open to members and non member with members receiving a discount.


Junior Summer Camp:

Hillcrest's Summer Camps will help your children develop a love for the sport. The Camp is organized by certified professionals who are passionate about youth development.  The camp will focus mostly on developing the skills needed for your children to play tennis on their own by developing their ability to rally, serve, return and keep score.  Fun drills and games will be used to develop proper technique and basics tactics.  Included in the full day camp will also be off court activities which will contribute you the physical skills needed for your children to play the sport more effectively. Camps will run rain or shine.


We offer many options for camp; Mornings 9-12, Afternoons 1-4 or full day 9-4.  In order to better fir your schedule before/aftercare can be arranged as well as alternate hours.


Camps are open to members and non members, with members receiving a discount.
